Once in a while… a VERY special steer shows up. HCR Torpedo is one of those very special steers. He is a Top Hand son. His Dam, 7LS Miss Iron Maxine, has hit a home run every time! We continue to hold our breath for a heifer from this mating. This is a snap shot of her with her 2020 bull calf (he will be available at weaning). His full brother is servicing his own herd in Texas, continuing the family tradition of extraordinary horn growth! HCR Torpedo is continuing to add horn by the minute. We don’t have a recent measurement.. hope to get one soon. One thing for sure, he is a real show stopper.
